TOU\B100: QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK (3DAYS/ 2NIGHTS)
DAY 1 Depart from Kampala early in the morning and head west, passing by the drum makers at Mpambire, where you will stop over to buy souvenirs, and then head to the Equator where you will relax and take pictures. Proceed to Mbarara where you will have lunch at the Agip Motel or Regency Hotel. Thereafter, head to Queen Elizabeth Park through the bottom of the East African Rift Valley, arriving for an evening game drive. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Mweya Institute of Ecology hotels. Meal Plan – Lunch and Dinner. TRANSIT TIME 4 – 6 HRS
DAY 2 After an early morning breakfast at about 6:30am, proceed for a game drive through the Kasenyi area where kobs have their mating grounds. Here there is a high chance of seeing cats like lions and leopards in action. Head on to the northern crater where you will have the opportunity to view elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, baboons, waterbuck, etc. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, take a magical launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will see solitary buffalo and a paradise of birdlife. Stay overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Mweya Institute of Ecology hostels. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 3 After an early morning breakfast, leave for Kampala. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route. Meal Plan - Breakfast and Lunch.
Includes: Accommodation, meals, park entry fees, launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, bottled mineral water, and ground transportation in a 4 x 4 safari vehicle with English-speaking driver guide.
